| Matt Walker is a true original. His vocals, his acoustic guitar, dobro, lapsteel and harmonica playing are like nothing you've heard before. In his own words - "I don't get a buzz from playing someone elses licks so I don't bother." Growing up in the hills close to Melbourne, Matt didn't begin to play seriously until thirteen, which would be considered ancient these days. He was listening to Led Zep and AC/DC and confesses to nicking a few riffs from Johnny Winter, the Bluesbreakers and John Hammond. |
