| For over ten years Moonah have been creating and preforming their powerful melodies and atmospheric sound scapes, with eclectic influences including Celtic, folk, blues, surf and psychedelic.
They find inspiration from their Australian homeland, its rugged landscape and unique cultural history.
These five instrumental artists Mark Trinham, Andrew Taylor, Tom Gittings, Rod Cosier and Matiss Schubert perform with tin whistle, didgeridoo, guitars, bass, fiddle, harmonica and percussion.
Moonahs interests are a mix of surfing, art and the natural environmental. With this force behind them they weave their original compositions into a contemporary folk experience as windblown and unique as their southern Victorian coastal homeland.
