| Mettaphor is sublime saxophones, luscious hot vox groove guitar, phat loopz n beatz - its a saxophone driven, soulful guitar groove experience with sensual vocals wrapped around articulate lyrics and funky beats. Angelika Heinrich and Kaeleen Hunter are the force behind Mettaphor. Angelika burns air like few other women on alto and soprano saxophones going from funky sax solos to jazzy lead vocals. Kaeleen sings and plays guitar and is an audio tech geek who creates 'the rhythm section'. Nu jazz is a tag if you need one, though defining jazz goes against the essence - Mettaphor prefer to make music rather than define it! |
