| Gilbert Whyte is a Scottish born acoustic soloist from Australia with a fingerpicking guitar style derived from older style influences such as Woody Guthrie, Nick Drake and Townes Van Zandt. With lyrical subjects inspired by life experiences, Gilbert�s ballads are simple and yet diverse in feel and tone.
