180knots
| 180knots are a band that come from the Surf Coast in Victoria and have that coastal flavour with a mix of rock, reggae and a touch of surf guitar. �One for the Monkey� features nine songs with all compositions or arrangements being undertaken by the band. The songs range from the story telling and melodic opening track Acland Street Before the Dawn to the grungier Simple Man, which has a strong rock influence. There is a touch of reggae in Echoes of Columbine that gives old George W a bit of stick and there is a new modern surf-classic arrangement of �Chitlins Con Carne�. They all surf and they all love to play music together and they definitely have that laid-back coastal attitude. |
